Meet the Team
Malinda Johnson, MTS, MA, NCC, LPC
Malinda’s background includes individual and group counseling, as well as teaching in a variety of educational and community settings. She seeks to meet clients where they are, and provide whatever support and companionship they may need while navigating developmental growth and change.
Malinda’s orientation is largely Existential, Feminist, and Client-Centered, and she leans toward a Behavioral and Narrative approach. Malinda also has experience in Career Counseling and values a broad range of spiritual interventions like breathwork, meditation, poetry, journaling, and the restorative power of nature.
Beyond work, Malinda enjoys reading mysteries, outdoor exercise no matter the weather, and being with family and friends. Malinda has a BA in Religious Studies from Connecticut College; an MTS (Masters in Theological Studies) from Harvard University; and an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Fairfield University.
