Robert Iarrobino, MA
Rob Iarrobino is a therapist intern specializing in both adult and adolescent therapy. He supports clients facing a variety of mental health challenges, including Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, ADHD, Alcohol Use Disorder, Cannabis Use Disorder, and co-occurring disorders. By working at a pace that suits each client, Rob assists them in processing trauma, developing healthy coping skills, and empowering them to find happiness and fulfill their life goals.
Rob employs techniques rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (T-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help clients achieve personal growth and strengthen their self-worth. He fosters a supportive environment through non-judgmental listening, compassion, empathy, and humor, working collaboratively with clients to facilitate their success.
Rob earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Minor in Psychology from Sacred Heart University. He is set to complete his Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Fairfield University in December ‘24. Outside of his professional life, Rob enjoys watching sports, reading, listening to music, and collecting sports and movie memorabilia.
