Mark Zezza, LMSW
Mark brings a multifaceted approach to therapy, drawing from a combination of therapeutic techniques tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. He works collaboratively with clients to create a supportive environment where individual strengths and challenges are addressed. His approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while also integrating mindfulness and holistic elements when appropriate.
With experience working across a wide range of sociodemographic backgrounds and clinical presentations, Mark has helped clients facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), bipolar disorder, personality disorders, and substance use. His ability to connect with clients and adapt to their specific needs is at the core of his practice.
Mark holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from the New School and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Syracuse University. He earned his undergraduate degree at Dickinson College, where he majored in Psychology and Mathematics. Before transitioning to clinical work, Mark spent over 20 years as a healthcare policy advisor, where he focused on improving access to high-quality healthcare at a systemic level.
Outside of his professional life, Mark is a dedicated family man with a wife and two young children. He enjoys running and painting, finding balance between his personal and professional life through creative and physical outlets.
