Meet the Team

Dr. Carolyn Dennett, PsyD

Dr. Carolyn Dennett is a licensed clinical psychologist and the Clinical Director of Elevate Health and Wellness. Dr. Dennett received her B.A. in psychology and her M.S. in Counseling and Human Development from the University of Rochester. She received her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from William James College (formerly MSPP).

She specializes in treating adolescents and adults, with a focus on ADHD across the lifespan. Dr. Dennett is dedicated to helping clients understand their unique “ADHD brain” so they can move past feelings of being paralyzed or stuck and build a path forward.

Her work emphasizes supporting teens and their families through the emotional and developmental transition to adulthood. She also treats common co-occurring conditions, assisting clients with emotional regulation and mood disturbances. Dr. Dennett provides practical strategies for parents, including those who are navigating their own mental health challenges while raising children.

I attended Elevate's Intensive Outpatient Program, and found it to be very beneficial. They have three great moderators Polly, Sue & Stef (all who truly care). The subject matter covered at each session is very pertinent to recovery & being able to identify triggers among MANY other useful topics which are covered three times a week. The group is a very manageable size, and allows members to feel safe, and a part of which harbors participation and honest sharing which are assets for anyone's recovery. I have done other IOP's and this far exceeds any of the other ones. I would highly recommend Elevate to anyone who cares about getting and staying sober.
