Meet the Team
Kayleigh Griffin
Kayleigh is a counseling intern and is currently working toward her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Fairfield University in order to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. She expects to graduate in December of 2026 and is eager to begin this new chapter of life. Prior to this, Kayleigh received a B.A. in psychology from Loyola University Maryland.
In school, Kayleigh is also working toward a concentration in eating disorder treatment. Other populations she is interested in working with include individuals with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and those who need support navigating life transitions.
From her educational and professional experiences, Kayleigh has learned the value of human connection. Kayleigh builds genuine relationships with clients and strives to create a comfortable and warm environment for them. She utilizes a person centered approach that empowers clients to reach their full potential and enhance their quality of life. Recognizing that every client is different and therapy is not one size fits all, Kayleigh also incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients achieve their goals.
Outside of counseling, Kayleigh enjoys exercising, spending time with her dog, and trying new coffee shops. Kayleigh believes in living a life that is authentic, fun, and meaningful. She empowers clients to approach life with curiosity and supports them on their therapeutic journey.
