Meet the Team

Rose Marshall, LMSW

Rose specializes in working with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, substance use, and life transitions, as well as those seeking deeper self-understanding and meaningful change.

Rose’s approach balances evidence-based practice with genuine human connection. She draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed frameworks to tailor treatment to each individual client, meeting them where they are and collaborating to identify their strengths, challenge unhelpful patterns, and build toward the life they want. She believes the therapeutic relationship itself is a powerful vehicle for healing, and brings both clinical rigor and warmth to every session.

Her clinical experience includes working across the inpatient psychiatric and residential units at Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, CT, where she provided individual and group therapy to adolescent and adult populations experiencing acute psychiatric crises. Rose also brings experience in school-based counseling, having worked with adolescents through individual therapy, DBT skills groups, and crisis intervention. Across these settings, her work has spanned mood disorders, trauma, and co-occurring substance use, deepening her appreciation for the complexity each client brings and her commitment to meeting them with care and without judgment.

Rose holds a Master of Social Work degree from Fairfield University. Outside of the office, she enjoys running, practicing yoga, cooking, and traveling.
