Women's Residential Mental Health Program
A Place to Heal. Built for Women.
Elevate Health and Wellness is proud to introduce a healing environment created exclusively for adult women — a safe, structured, and deeply compassionate residential program located in Clinton, CT. If you or someone you love is struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, or a mood or personality disorder, this program was designed with her in mind.
Women experience mental health challenges in deeply personal and often complex ways — shaped by relationships, life transitions, hormonal changes, trauma histories, and societal expectations. Research consistently shows that women benefit from treatment environments designed specifically for their needs.
At Elevate Health and Wellness, our all-female residential mental health program in Clinton, Connecticut provides 24/7 structured, clinically sophisticated care in a warm, home-like setting where healing can truly begin.
This is not a one-size-fits-all program. Every woman who enters our care receives a highly individualized treatment plan, developed and overseen by our experienced, interdisciplinary clinical team — including psychiatrists, psychologists, and licensed therapists. Our approach integrates evidence-based therapies with compassionate, whole-person care to address the underlying causes of emotional distress, not just the symptoms.
Many of the women we treat are also navigating co-occurring substance use and mental health challenges, requiring a more integrated level of care.
Is This Program Right for You?
Our Women’s Residential Mental Health Program is designed for adult women who are experiencing a noticeable decline in their ability to function, feel emotionally stable, or manage daily life — and who would benefit from 24-hour support in a structured, therapeutic environment.
Many of the women we treat are:
- Feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or “not like themselves”
- Struggling to keep up with work, relationships, or daily responsibilities
- Experiencing worsening depression, anxiety, or mood instability
- Navigating difficult life transitions such as divorce, loss, or major change
- Feeling stuck despite therapy, medication, or prior treatment
- Increasingly isolated, withdrawn, or disengaged from life
We Specialize in Treating:
-
Depression and Mood Disorders
(including Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, and Persistent Depressive Disorder) -
Anxiety Disorders
(including Generalized Anxiety, Panic Disorder, and Social Anxiety) -
Trauma and PTSD
(including complex trauma, childhood trauma, and relational trauma) -
Personality and Emotional Regulation Disorders
(including Borderline Personality Disorder and chronic emotional dysregulation) -
Co-Occurring Disorders (Dual Diagnosis)
Integrated treatment for women experiencing both mental health conditions and substance use disorders, addressing the full picture of care rather than treating each in isolation.
Many women in our program present with more than one of these conditions. Our team is trained and experienced in treating co-occurring diagnoses with a whole-person, trauma-informed approach.

Insurance & Admissions Information
Our Women’s Residential Mental Health Program is currently a private-pay program. At this time, residential-level care is not yet in-network with insurance. We are actively working toward insurance credentialing and will update this page as that changes.
Important: Our outpatient programs — including our Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), therapy services, medication management, and outpatient detox — are in-network with most commercial insurance plans and Connecticut Medicaid (Husky).
We encourage you to contact us to discuss your specific situation. Our admissions team is happy to walk you through your options and help you understand what financial pathways may be available.
